Measurements
Prior to the final order for your carpet being placed, the installation team from your showroom will visit your home, to verify measurements and identify potential challenges that require special attention.

Flooring Removal
While carpeting can be installed over most hard surfaces, the professionals from your showroom will remove old carpeting and repair any damaged subfloors.

Furniture Removal
Obstacles in a room, such as furnishings and appliances, need to be removed prior to carpet installation. If you prefer, you may ask your professionals from your showroom to handle this for you.

Doors
Depending on the height of the carpet to be installed, it may be necessary to remove interior and exterior doors prior to its installation. If this is the case, please keep in mind that those doors will need to be planed (to raise the height of the bottom edge) in order to operate above the new carpeting and avoid damage.

Touch Ups
When carpet is installed, it is tucked underneath baseboards. While the installation professionals from your showroom will be as careful as is possible, you may find that a few minor touchups are necessary to baseboards and other molding after installation.

Seams
The installation professionals from our showrooms are experts at minimizing the appearance of seams, although due to certain conditions including fiber type, texture, lighting conditions, and viewing angle, there may be a subtle presence of seaming in limited areas.
